Need link between MS Excel and MS SQL Server 2000

Hi All,

I am not familiar with MS SQL Server. I have one MS Excel file with datas such as date, name, Address such that. My client given one software to type those datas. The typed datas are stored in one .mdf and one .ldf file. Finally I send this two database files to my client. Now what I need is, a link between MS excel file and .mdf database file. Is it possible? Or any other way is there to transfer data from MS Excel to MS SQL Server Master Database File.
Thanks,

With Regards,
bala

Hi,

Thank you very much. I import the excel file to my MS SQL Server 2000 .mdf file as per your information.(using Enterprice Manager)

Now I have one more doubt.

In that database there are so many tables present. User created tables and system tables. I will take care of that user created tables. I import the data from excel file to .mdf file instead of using my client's customized tool. If my client have chance to find, all the data had entered are import from excel instead of using customized tool?
If yes, where can he see that details?
Can I change that data too to my requirement?
Thanks,

With Regards,
bala
