Updating 1 table from another

I hope someone can help me. I'm new at this so please bear with me.
I'm trying to insert data from table Site with table Inventory
I'm using the following statement:

INSERT INTO site (site_id, subscriber, organization, dealer, name)
SELECT site, subscriber, organization, dealer, site
FROM inventory
WHERE inventory.identifier > '-1'
AND inventory.site != 'DUPLICATE RADIO'

I'm getting an error about duplicates. How can I add to this statement to skip a duplicate record and move to the next?

Any help would be GREAT!!
