Bulk Insert

I have a student management program, now i need to update an SQL database with a CSV file, now ive tested the BULK INSERT function and it works fine.
i have a table names students, and a column named creditavailable....which they buy books with etc etc now they can buy more credit obviously, now i can edit 1 student at a time with no problems, say there are 50 students that have increase there credits and those student are saved in an CSV file with there names and credit available.

Now i dont want the bulk insert to duplicate the student, what i want is that the bulk insert finds the students in the csv file and only updates there credits available, if a student in the CSV file doesnt exist in the table then the student is created.

is this possible.
