Update 'YEAR' in DateTime datatype Record

Hi,

I have a situation here.

SELECT DATE_CREATED FROM EMPLOYEE

Results:
2002-10-17 09:16:26.000

I want to update this DATE_CREATED only by changing the YEAR to 2007-10-17 09:16:26.000

How do i go about it?

thanks,

Do u have another column name for yr? If so u can update that alone. Else
go for:Update tablename set columnname='2007-10-17 09:16:26.000' where columnname='2002-10-17 09:16:26.000'

try this...Someimes u may get easier queries than this
Thanks

Try this:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT dateadd(yy, 5, DATE_CREATED) FROM EMPLOYEE
Good Luck.
