How transfer user accounts from SQL7 to SQL2005

P: 1
Hi, I am sa on some SQL servers. My new job is transfer databases based on old SQL 7 to new servers based on SQL 2005. Yes, SQL 2005 knows the old format of MDF files. I can transfer all user databases by attach old mdf files to new SQL server.

But, there is plenty of remote users defined in the old master database. I must not break their connection into our system.

It is not possible attach old master.mdf file to new system. It is not possible connect these users and ask for their passwords.

Is there some way to transfer user accounts from SQL7 master database into the new SQL2005 master ?
Thanks for any suggestions.
