SQL Server Memory Keeps Growing

Hi, I have a ASP.Net v 1.1 with a SQL Server 2000 database site on a server with 1/2 GB of memory. The memory allocated to SQL Server continues to grow irrespective to what I set on the memory tab, of the properties pane in enterprise manager.

In my code I have a single class that handles all database connections, in this all connections are closed.. All my sql is held in stored procedures.

I have noticed that if the site pulls back a some data the memory allocation grows, this continues and then exceeds the limits that I believe I have set on the properties page.

I have not set any values in the web.config file that specify connection pools.

Any help would be great as the only way I can prevent the server running out of memory is to stop and start the service.

Regards

Jim
