SQL Server 2005 - How do I import data from an Oracle Data Pump file?

All,

Subject: SQL Server 2005 - How do I import data from an Oracle Data Pump file?

Tried looking in the SQL help for this and it's not very forthcoming on how
you do this.

How do I achieve this? Can someone send me an example SSIS package OR tell
me the steps OR point me towards a resource that could help me?

Look forward to your replies.

Many thanks,
Regards,
Richard.

Hi Richard,
to import data ,right click on the database (source) click on the tasks and select import data.then select OLEdb provider for oracle. then go tonext and select your server database (destination).then check 1st option

The source is a datapump flat file and not an actual connection to a database. Will this import wizard allow connection to a flat file?
