Would like a stored proc to convert rtf field to text

Hi

I inherited a database that has a field containing the data I need stored in rtf format. I am hoping someone can help me find a stored procedure that I can use to pass the contents of the rtf formatted field and it will convert it to text and pass back unformatted text.

Thanks!

I don't know if a stored procedure will do this...What technology are you using for a front end?
