Extract text from fixed-length text rows to SQL table

Hi,

I just received a file with demographic data, almost 1GB of text. The issue is, there are no column delimiters, all the informaton is in one single row.

I know where the data of intetest is, so I want to be able to go to a specific place in the text row and extract n characters for each piece of data I need.

For example,

12345678910500000000000000000000000001900101022000 000000000000000000LAST NAME 1 LAST NAME 2 FIRST NAME FATHER'S FULL NAME MOTHER'S FULL NAME PLACE OF BIRTH

Is one row of data. I need the ID number (places 1-9), date of birth (places 38-45), last name 1 (places 69-81), last name 2 (places 82-94), first name (places 95-124).

I am no good with programming, so is there something in T-SQL I can use?

Thanks,

Cristián
