Insert into problem

Hello,
how to preform insert into where few colums are from a select statment and other are fixed values:
I tried the following expresion:
insert into dbo.SalaryTmp (Period, Employee, Actual, ExpType, Type )
select Period, Employee, NetAmount, 10, "Actual" from dbo.TmpActualSalary

the 10 and the "actual" are fixed values.
and I keep getting error

Hi,
Try giving actual in single qoutes. 'Actual'
If not working check the datatypes of columns in corresponding position in the insert and select.
