Linking SQL server 2005 and Oracle 8

P: 15
I am still testing the different features I can use to connect from SQL Server 2005 to ORACLE.

Actually the scenario that I have now is the following:

I have the SQL Server 2005 64Bit installed on Windows 2003 Server 64 bit, and I have the OracleClient 10g for 64 bit installed
I created an SSIS package
I have added an OLEDB Source, the connection is to ORALE 8 database:
I used OLEDB provider for oracle and I provided the name of oracle instance, username and password; so I got the following error:
Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation. Provider is unable to function until these components are installed.

If I connect to ORACLE 8 database using the SQL PLUS provided with the oracle 10 g client, I can do the connection with no problem.
kindly advise what may be the problem and how it can be solved
