Garbage at the RowEnd

hello Sir ,
I got some error while importing the data from .txt file to Sqlserver2000 database. The error which is produced while trying to import is :->

{ Bulk Insert fails. Column is too long in the data file for row 1, column 86. Make sure the field terminator and row terminator are specified correctly. }

the script i m using is :->

BULK INSERT cdr_try FROM 'C:\MSL20070408.txt'
WITH (
DATAFILETYPE = 'char',
FIELDTERMINATOR = ';',
ROWTERMINATOR = '\n')

Actually i think there r some garbage values in the txt file at each RowEnd.

Please tell me how to Remove garbage from the RowEnd so that the records can be placed in the dataTable.

Thanks with Regards,
