Does anybody else find the handling of tabs by sql 2005 annoying, I've went as far to post a comment/suggestion to the Microsoft connect site,
http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=243944
"The tabs implementation in SQL Server 2005 leaves a lot to be desired. Problems:
#1. When you select "modify" for a stored procedure, the tab's title should read the name of the procedure, instead of the completely useless "ServerName.DatabaseName.SQLQuery#"
#2. Once you have more tabs than fit on the page, there is no indication that there are more tabs available to the right. Firefox handles this by shrinking the size of the tabs, and providing visual cues.
#3. The Ctrl-Tab process for switching tabs is confusing. Instead of just operating in a next tab/previous tab fashion like FireFox,
the pop-up box displays the completely useless Query# information, and it is difficult to find the tab you want to work with without randomly cycling through tabs until you find the right one.
This is copy from a previous suggestion. I'm re-submitting it because it has not been resolved in SP2, unless I'm missing a setting somewhere. I'm really only concerned about point 1.
I would have thought this should be an extremely easy thing to fix/do ?"
This, according to them is not so easy to fix ??
