Sql Local Server

I've just installed sql server 2005 on my cpu i think it's the enterprise edition
and i have few problems :
1.i can't find my local server anywhere(this is my main problem)
b.t.w : i'm connected to a server that isn't local and everything work fine there
when i try to set a new database engine and then - > new - > database registertion --> i see to tab : 1.local servers (which is empty) 2.connection ...
somthing when i do browse for more i find only the 233.3234....
server name that i connected to on the net.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
2.the sql server that i'm connected to give me this kind of line on the bottom
cell is read only
i need to change something in it , how do i do it ????

1. What program do you use to "find" SQL Servers?
2. Can you edit the field where "233.3234" appears? If yes, try entering "(local)" there.

3. I didn't understand second question. Where does SQL Server give you these line? What application? What cell do you mean...?
