SQL Scripts

Hi Friends,

What is SQL script? How do you write (and save) your SQL script? How do you test your SQL script to make sure it is working?

Thank you,
Shilpa.

SQL script is a set of sql statements that can be written in any text editor including Notepad. There several GUI tools for writing/testing SQL statements. SQL Server 7.0 or 2000 is shipped with Query Analyzer, and SQL Server 2005 is shipped with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
