Inexperienced with Queries

5
Hello All,

I'm trying to create a query that shows the Net Inventory Value of all my products. I need to multiply UnitsInStock with UnitPrice and sort them from highest to lowest and display them as Unit Price and Quantity on Hand but I have no idea how to write this query.

I know that I have to have a calculated field and a column alias but not sure how to put it all together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't know exact column names execute following statement:
sp_help your_table_name
It will show you all available columns.

Query shoul look like this:
Select [Net Inventory], UnitsInStock * UnitPrice as 'Unit Price'
From Your_Table
Order by 2 desc
Make sure you use correct column names. You can add as many columns as you want.

Good Luck.
