view and table

hi all,
could you please help me?
currently i'm working using a view and a table in sql server 2000.
the view has a field that sums the quantity of outgoing items grouped by date and then by item code.
the table shows the incoming items for each date and each item code.
what i want to do is, to add a field that sums the outgoing (from the view) and incoming (from the table) item quantity for each item in each date.
can you tell me please how to do it?
