using trusted connection from unix

Hi,

Is it possible to connect to SQL Server using trusted connection from
unix? If yes, I'd like to know how.

Regards,
Thyagu.

Since trusted connection is based on the fact that Windows has already
authenticated you, this seems somewhat difficult to envision. Logging
into Unix and being authenticated by Windows? I guess some people would
call that heresy.

But I don't do much work in the Unix world today, so what do I know?
Maybe there is a product out there that does this. But it sounds
improbable.

I've never done this, but assuming that you can set up Active Directory
authentication for a UNIX client, then it should be relatively
straightforward. Have you done a search for Active Directory
authentication from a UNIX client?

Yes I was searching for that. In fact I got a few useful links. Do you
recommend any other resources?

SAMBA server might be another way of accomplishing this:
