Linked Server

1
Hi,

I receive the following error message from a scehuled job that connects to a linked server using ODBC:

"Executed as user: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "NISSE" reported an error. The provider reported an unexpected catastrophic failure. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 7399) Cannot open the table "kp_Discretedef" from OLE DB provider "MSDASQL" for linked server "NISSE". Unknown provider error. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 7306). The step failed.,00:00:00,16,7306,,,,0"

The job seems to work just fine but runs into this state after about 24 hour. Is there some connections not closing?

This problem was found when migrating from MS SQL Server 2000 to MS SQL Server 2005...
