SQL user and group audit report

I am trying to create a TSQL statement or stored procedure that can
tell me what users belong to what group and what groups have access to
what files. Can anyone help? Can I pull out a list of names from
Active Directory to use as my user list?

There is an example in books on line on querying a linked server to active
directory, have a look at it. If you've got any questions , reply to the
