Version of Windows Server?

Hello all,

1. Is there a DOS command to check version of Windows server 2003 ( or 2000)?
and Is there a DOS command to check version of SP in Windows Server?

Thanks in advance,
Do.

WMI is the preferred API for retrieving OS-level information:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr...s/win2003.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr...n/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scr...s/default.mspx

But this has nothing to do with MSSQL, so you'll probably get a better
answer in a Windows group.
