sql2000 replication

hello,
also wanted to confirm which versions of sql2000 can do replication.
Would be nice to have fault-tolerance via replication so as to have a
hot-standby.

All editions of SQL Server supports some form of replication, but MSDE
can only be a subscriber.

For further details, see Books Online. SQL Server Architecture->
Implementation Details->Editions of SQL Server.

And keep in mind there can be a definite lag in replication, so it's really
a warm-standby generally.
