Hello,

I am trying to import a data from a DB called Reference Manager. It
was sent as an XML file.

How do I import it? I only have the client tools.

Thanks,

Check out OPENXML in Books Online, and if you need to load large amounts ot
data, then you can download SQLXML 3.0, which has an XML bulk load
component. In addition to the examples in Books Online, this site has lots
of information:

http://www.sqlxml.org

There's also a newsgroup which might be useful for you:

microsoft.public.sqlserver.xml
