OLEDB error in SSIS

Below is the error message I am getting.

"Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation.

Provider is unable to function until these components are installed."

I am working with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). When I am trying to select OLEDB source as Oracle 10g database I am getting this error.
Platform Details:
I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition server 64 bit running SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition 64 bit with Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 64 bit client installed.

Please help me with this problem. Why I am getting this error? and what needs to be done to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

I'm new to .NET and web development so please forgive. What is the best way to display an error message, particularly during development. For example I handle an exception, let's say it's an oledb error thrown because a file does not exist. I want to inform the user (me) that I just caught this exception. What's the best way to do this? ...

Hi all! I'm developing an application that imports a CSV file then stores the imported data to an XML file through a dataset and an Access database. I've used the connection and data adapter objects. I don't have any problems in saving the imported data in a dataset and xml file, but whenever I'm saving it to the access database, I always...

We recently installed the .Net framework on a windows 2000 server. Shortly after that we experienced intermitant problems running a web based program that accesses an Access 2002 database. The intranet .asp program works, but as soon as it tries to access the database for normal users, it gives us an "unspecified error" and that it can't...

A unique issue has cropped up today in a .NET program I developed. It has been working fine for over an year until now. The program makes 2 connections total - one to a UNIT instance and another to TEST instance. Both instances are running Oracle 10g. The program is able to connect (using OLEDB provider) to both the instances separately...

Hello, When you get an error in a VB.NET program, is it possible to know what is the origin of the error. I assume it can be VB.NET, the framework, a database engine, the database itself (Access, SQL Server, ...). How can you know which source has thrown the exception? Some error messages are in English, some in my own language. Many...

Below is the code for 2 separate functions. The first one gets data from an Access database and works fine. The second one is almost a duplicate except it gets data from an SQL database. It works fine if I insert the actual value for the criteria. In other words, if I insert "mscott" in the place of "txtData.Text", it will return the...
