Configuring SQL MAIL

Hi All,

My question is that can I configure SQL MAIL, if my EXCHANGE

SERVER is on different domain and my SQL is running on different

domain. Can anyone guide me for this because I googled a lot

without any result.

I am using SQL SERVER 2000 Enterprise Edition with service pack 3.

and MICROSOFT EXCHANGE SERVER 2000.

Thanks

If the SQL Server service account is a domain account which can connect
to Exchange, then it should be fine, but that really depends on your
domain configuration. See Q12 here:

And also this article:

I would like to configure e-mail alerts on my SQL Server 2000 box. However, we also run Exchange on the same machine. I've been told there could be conflicts/issues having Outlook on the same machine as Exchange; and apparently, one needs Outlook to configure a mail profile for SQL Server Agent. Is there, in fact, anything to worry about? If so, are there any work-arounds beside moving Exchange to another server? (we've only got one...

A browser conforming to HTML 4.0 is required to recognize &#number; notations. If I use XHTML 1.0 and charset UTF-8 though, does é have as much support as é ? Sometimes when I run the TIDY utility on my code, it replaces my character notations with weird looking things I don't recognize. Also, when I converted to UTF-8 from ISO-8859-1, I discovered many special characters

A tale of woe, and a question . . . Last week my boss said to me "we've installed DB2 Connect on this Solaris box. Make it work." Now, I've barely seen DB2 Connect on Windows, having fumbled thru one install and config, with a lot of handholding from IBM Support. I'm comfortable in unix but have never dealt with DB2 Connect there. (my main job is as an Oracle DBA, and most of my db's are on Solaris or AIX) I've found the install...

So far, every book I have looks at on ASP.NET jumps right into creating a project. There is no discussion about setting up the environment, using a local IIS install (I think it can all be ran on XP now, right?) vs. having a development server, etc. I will want to eventually maintain several websites using ASP.NET and SQL Server and I have my own development box with W2003 server and IIS6 running. Anybody got some good reference material...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
