Other switches to get sample length from "mciSendString"?

3
While I'm doing this in VB, it really doesn't much matter.

I'm using "mciSendString" to obtain the length of some wave files in "milliseconds".

The command being sent to the api reads:

"Set MediaFile time format milliseconds"

The only other time format option I've been able to find is "hms".

Does anyone know if there are any others? Thx.

The set command establishes control settings for the device. CD audio, digital-video, MIDI sequencer, VCR, videodisc, video-overlay, and waveform-audio devices recognize this command.

To send this command, call the mciSendString function with the lpszCommand parameter set as follows.

less than 5 mins of Google where needed to get this info.....

It certainly helps when you know what to look for.

I Googled for much longer looking for "mciSendString" parameters and switches only to come up empty. :(

Thx.
