Problem with SAPI application and 4 core processor

I have a SAPI application to transcribe audio files with speech recognition, and everything worked fine until 4 core processors showed up. I spent many hours testing in different machines and my conclusion is that there’s a bug in SAPI. In my configuration (Windows 7, dual core processor, 2 GB in RAM, 250 GB in hard disk and virtual memory handled by the system) the program runs as it should. Same program, same audiofiles in a similar configuration but 4 core instead of 2 and 3 GB in RAM, the programa aborts in the “speakstream” or “speakaudio” operation with the message “Not enough storage available to complete the operation” (there are no problems with RAM, hard disk or virtual memory).

I’ll appreciate any help.
