Read text from a webpage

Can you give me any idea…. just want to read a line of text from a webpage and store it in a string variable using desktop vb.net.

I've seen several ways of doing this, but I don't recall them off the top of my head. I've seen a lot of programs and code for programs that do exactly what you are looking for online. Search them out and if you have any specific questions you can asked them in the appropriate forum (.net, vb, c# ect.).
