Yeah sure, you can. But do make a good OS, not like Windows.
I really hate it. See there's a Start button, but no Stop button... how foolish!!

So just keep the things in mind which were not good in old OSs, and don't repeat them.

One should always learn from the mistakes of others.

read through the entire thread -> hsriat gave you the link in post #2 ... in case you really! want to create an OS ... you will find some good and useful hints there in posts where people tried to be honest ... but as you also see from there ... when you don't know any basics there is nearly no way to get real help with this ... so read the thread and try to learn from the mistakes there and learn from the honest posts there where you first have to look at the given links for your own and then come back with concrete questions ...

kind regards,
gits

PS: just avoid a similar thread!! here again ...

HELLO MikeJaskov,
Well, I have some questions. Please answer them honestly.
1. You joined bytes.com on June 30th, 2008. And vace was banned somewhere in march (his last activity was on March 22, 2008). So how do you know vace. I mean to say that how can you two be friends as he was a memmber of bytes.com when you even had not joined bytes.com.

2. Click links below and compare the data on the pages. Aren't they quite similar or appear to be similar?

Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

As far as it comes to me, then a person knowing vace(even before he joined bytes.com), having similar biography + similar location & bithday (atleast it appears so) + similar interests + similar occupation, cannot be anyone else than VACE himself. Well this is just my personal opinion and So never mind it.

@moderators-I'm not making accustations in my thread. But if moderators think that this reply of mine is against posting guidelines and site policies, then please remove this reply from this thread.

THANKS

LOL!! I have EXACTLY THE SAME opinion!!
I didn't look into the matter so deeply, like comparing their profiles etc, but just in this thread, I could notice that he eventually made the same kind of grammar mistakes as VACE did. He's encouraging the OP in a similar way as his clone (VladicaJ) did him (Vace).

The funniest thing I've ever seen is in any forum is in that VACE - The Great Programmer's thread. VACE made a new account to make it stand along with his original one, but by mistake he forgot to logout and replied from the same account as VACE. And what made me roll on the floor was someone's reply there which said, "That's got to be really embarrassing".

I'm curious why you included a link to VladicaJ's account in your analysis?

Well, I thought that VladicaJ is the same person as VACE and therefore added the link to VladicaJ's account in my analysis.

MikeJaskov was on my short list long before ambr even started this thread. And by "shortlist" I mean something else that starts with "sh".
