Limitations of Today

Welll.... i think technology is reaching a limit at the moment ..................(well will do someday)........(Unfortunately)

I think for Successfull and major improvement today ......(This is just my opinion) ........we need to move beyond..........Binary
This i think depends on how we store data.....any new system has to be able to be stored on data storring devices.....Therfore ........Does anybody have new ideas as to how data can be stored? Besides in binary...

I just wanted to ask whether anybody has any ideas as to where the future lies........ and how we as a programming community can influence it through our knowledge.....and if anybody has anyideas on how binary might be replaced.......

IMAGINATION is JUST AS IMPORTANT AS KNOWLEDGE AND VISE VERSA

Binary or not binary is not the problem. Binary based arithmetic and representation of numbers is meaningless to a computer. All mathematical models can be converted to a different base so changing the base gets you nothing.

However I did see an interesting show on some research being done into quantum computing where each bit would have three states, ON/OFF/NEUTRAL. That could be fun!

ON/OFF/NEUTRAL. That could be fun!
....ON/OFF/Neutral.......That sounds better than YES/No

ON/OFF/Neutral
Does neutral stand for both on and off.......or niether.......
See already the capabilities have increased......by moving slightly away from binary.....
