I have a question, I'm an intern at a software company and like most interns learning everything as I go.

However, I have this low level project with no dead line (before I got here it was already three months old).

I was wondering is it better to rush this project and get it done before I go back to college or continue at my learn as I go and get it right the first time pace and work on it at college (VPN)?

Thanks.

Heya, Newbie19.

I think the more important question to that one is, 'does your boss want you to get it done before you go back to college?'

It may be considered low-level, but in addition to knowledge, you're also hopefully going to get connections and a reference (and possibly a future job) out of the deal.

If you think it's something to take your time with, but your management really just wants it finished, that might lead to some friction down the road.

On the other hand, if you try to rush through it, but management doesn't really care one way or the other, you'll be the one who gets frustrated.

True, actually I just found out they want the prototype (which is almost done) with their request feature additions (easier said then done) before college and then I'll be taking in put from the company as they pick it apart and fixing it as I go.

Thanks for the advice.
