How to learn software engineering

I'm a undergraduate ,I do not know how to learn the class of software engineering? My major is computer science,so could you introduce some classical books about software engineering to me? Thanks!

The most commonly used SE book in this neck of the woods is "Software Engineering (Author: Ian Sommerville, Publisher Addison/Wesley). I believe this book is Published in England, but should be available most places around the world I would think....

But I just use the SE book of Author is Roger S. Perssman,he writed the book is software engineering－a practitioner's approach sixth edition. is it good or not? thanks.

I've read Sommerville and recomend that.

it's so easy to learn it using software engineering with UML,it's a modeling techniques to model about 80% of complex Systems

Read The Book of Software Engineering By Hudson Of Oxford University Press.
I have studed many books of software engineering But I finds This is the best Book.

I know that software engineers haev tofirst test softwares and stuff, as they gain more experience they get to design softwares. but can u plz tell e in detail what excatly does a software engineers do, and also what i ahev to learn so when i get to university, i know little abt software.

I f you van get the book by " Rajeeb Mall" an Indian Writer from IIT for Software engineering then i am sure you will love that subject

Also learn book by " Pressman" if you have enough time as it is little harder

so best go for first one
