Multiple domains for different regions SEO

hi,
a discussion on the SEO, my client have 10 domains and all will display the same products, all the domains will be parked on the single domain , all these different domains are related to the different areas so the color scheme will be different ,now the client says that he wants that if a person searches something related to his area means.

Lets say the domains are for UK counties

www.mysitHampshire.com
www.mysitMerseyside.com
www.mysitKent.com
www.mysiteEssex.com
All these sites are for the gloves , t-shirts and jeans
now a user goes on google and writes jeans for Hampshire then the www.mysitHampshire.com should appear in the search results and not any other sites, what do you people suggest what could be the best thing or approach to do this or should there be some changing in the plan if anything in this scenario is undo able, any suggestion is appreciated in advance,
Regards,
Omer Aslam .

Omer,

Best practices for search engine optimization ask that you use subfolders. So ideally you should:

www.mysitkit.com/hampshire
ww.mysitkit.com/merseyside
www.mysitkit.com/kent

To help improve your relevancy locally you might want to invest in a co.uk domain.

Link to all the regional pages from your home pages. Make sure the content in each of the pages is unique to that region.

Saturating the search engines with domains for each city might be overkill and might land you in duplicate content trouble.

I think niheel is right then main thing is that there should be always a unique content in all the pages.

You have to create sub-folder in main domain - As said above. If you created different websites (domain name) for different regions then it's so much hard to optimize that all websites. If you created website with different regions as a different sub folder in main domain then it's an easy for optimizing your website for local regions.

To optimize your website locally, you have to use local SEO strategy for more traffic and leads.

But its create the issue of duplication by creating sub domain. As you mention that you have same product for different location. It means same content and Title. I suggestion is to use separate. See this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyWx31GeQWY
