exploring quiver function

P: 1
hi,
i want to make a diagram which look like a fan i.e. three lines at 120 degree each. I have made it by using quiver function. The code is given below,
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. import sys,os
  2. import numpy
  3. import scipy
  4. import IPython
  5. import wx
  6. import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
  7. from pylab import *
  8. if __name__=="__main__":
  9.     x = 1
  10.     y = 1
  11.     i = arange(1,10,1)
  12.     for a in i:
  13.         u = quiver(x,y,0,1)
  14.         d = quiver(x,y,3,-1.732)
  15.         f = quiver(x,y,-3,-1.732)
  16.         x = x+1
  17.         y = y+1
  18.         xlim(0,5)
  19.         ylim(0,5)
  20.     plt.show()
  21.
But the problem is, I cant find any option to change the color of any one arrow-line. Moreover kindly tell me how can I change the width and length of the arrow-line.
