Download the py2exe source and try recompiling your script with it:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=35995

If you have issues, you'd best join the py2exe mailing list and post
there.

You must use a standalone executable builder like
* py2exe (Windows)
* py2app (Mac OS)
* PyInstaller (all platforms)
* cx_Freeze (Windows and Linux)
* bbFreeze (Windows and Linux)

Presumably you could use GUI2EXE [1] as a graphical front-end to these
tools (never tried this myself).
