Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction ....
I want to write a program to parse the macosx addressbook vCards.

Is there modules out there that might come in handy for this??

Thanks,

How about VObject? Seems to be pretty well featured and supported; however unfortunately I cannot test since I own no Macs.

Ive used regular expressions for that before. Since vCards are pretty much plain text you can read them with open() and read() and then parse the data with regexp.
Since your on a mac, try opening one of your vCards in Smultron or other codeeditor. From there you should be able to figure out what way to go.

Good luck buddy
