reading values from property file

i am writing a jython script for websphere JDBC configuration .
i want to import the values from the property files bt i m not getting it read fromproperty file.
can anybody tell me how to import the values from the property files

I have no idea what websphere JDBC configuration is, nor do I have any experience with jython. If the property files are ascii text, and you post a sample file and define the data you want to read, I may be able to help.
