Catching a message sent to python by VB function SendMessageByString

Hello.

I was wondering if any of you have ever done this before or could point me in the right direction.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. sub test()
  2.   hWnd = API_FindWindow("ConsoleWindowClass", "Python")
  3.   SendCommand "/echo -a " & hWnd
  4.   iMsg = "0x000C"
  5.   wParam = "0&"
  6.   lParam = "test"
  7.   MyValue = API_SendMessageByString(hWnd, iMsg, wParam, lParam)
  8. end sub

Bsically I need to be able to send a string to python (well..lots of strings) from a vb application.

Edit:

after doing a bit more searching I came to the conclusion that I probably need something from the win32 module. However, that thing is huge and i can't seem to narrow it down any.

I'll continue diving in those help files hopefully finding something similar to my hopes - being able to register a function that is called whenever the window receives a message from the vb code.
