how should i start to learn Python in only several days?

hi

i am very new to python and my final year project require me to do a Web application with Django web application framework( is only Python can work with this framework, are there any other language can also work with this framework?). i think they also require using of AJAX.

the time is quite short for me, so how can i learn Python language fast if this is the only language that can work well with Django framework, are there any good resources to recommend me so that i can pick it up fast and do my application immediately.

Thanks in advance, guys! :)

Hello, kang jia,
I believe that you will find Python syntax much easier to grasp than PHP.
Just post here for structural and syntactical help. We had one member develop a complete system on these boards (seemingly, without reading any of the documentation - which we severely admonished him for).

I'm not sure if you'll need AJAX or not.
I'm sure that you've seen The Web framework for perfectionists with deadlines.

hi

Really thanks for your kindness, yes, i will need AJAX as it is a requirement of my Final year Project. I have viewed this URL before, it is the official website. besides this, i have also viewed http://www.djangobook.com/. But all seems to have so many chapters, thus i am quite worried of my time line. In fact, i need to render a website just like "Avis Rent a Car" by using Django framework and AJAX. i have also never learnt AJAX before. However, i will try my best to learn and if i got questions, i will post here and seek your kind help. really thanks for it.

P.S : I never learn anything of Python before , can i really only start learning its Framework, Django, without learning of Python language as time is very tight for me?
