run third party program as though it's in the current directory

2
Hi,

I'm trying to run a third party program from my python script using os.spawnl. The problem is that the program which I'm running expects all its input files to be in the directory from which it was called. For various reasons, I'd like to avoid this. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Tom

The only thing that I can think of is

chdir( path)

Change the current working directory to path. Availability: Macintosh, Unix, Windows.
Hope that helps.
