Hey Guys,

I Hope you can help me!! I would like to develop a printing system for my college!

It would work like this:

The user would upload his file on internet (I'm not sure how I'm going to do it but probably in ASP, because that's what I actually know more.)

Then, the file would be in a folder of the server. From here I would like to develope in Python.

A script in Python, then, would read this folder and print 2 files per time and move those files to some other folder (like completed prints).

These 2 files would be:

File 1: The file that the user uploaded
File 2: Generated with ASP (or Python, if possible) based on the informations of the user to create a cover page. This file must printed before the first one. The objective of this file is to separate all the jobs on the printer tray and identify the owner of the print.

So, did you guys get the idea? Can you help me?

Please, remember that I'm a newbie on Python.

There's plenty of coding help here on the Python Forum.
For this kind of general discussion, the Software Developmnet Forum may be more appropiate. I'll move this there or you may start a discussion there and leave this here if you like.

Thanks for joining.
