Newb question regarding DOS command-line from Python

Hi all,

I am very new to python language and I need help with command line using python.

I want to write a piece of python code to execute some DOS command line but I don't know the command line. I have tried to search online and I have no luck or find any code example. Can someone please help me out that would be a great appreciated.

Can't help with DOS command-line. CAN and will help execute any command from python. Please try to be a little more specific with you intent. Thanks for joining.

what are you trying to do? Most of the things that can be done in DOS commandline, like dir, cd, mv,cp etc can be done natively in Python using modules. if you could spell out what you are going to do, maybe we can help a bit.
