help for removing MySQLdb module--import immutable set error

Hi
The situation goes like this.I have an FC5 system with MySQl and apache installed.I am not sure if it contains a MYSQL db module .anyway, i wanted to run python scripts so i installed Mysqldb python 1.2.1_p2 module.apparently, it doesn contain sets.py but when i checked the installation in the python site packages directory, sets.py was there causing immutable set import error. Then i installed MySQLdb 1.2.2 which has some changes in the cache path. Now, nothing is being displayed on my screen when i access the python script. How do i set this right?
