Working with KOMODO IDE

Is anybody working on KOMODO IDE?.

I am still confused why there are different Python IDEs and some are commercial and Licensed version.Even though the Python is a OpenSource code ,we have different IDE's.

Can anybody clarify on this.

I understand that each IDE is having there own different features,but how to select which IDE I have to use for developing the application

Paying for tools entitles you to customer support. If you feel that the tools are affordable and you need the support, Komodo is a good one. I prefer free tools and figuring out how to use them with the help of the community.
