Any Idea about thread safe issue with python

Hi All
I need help guys. I have a code running properly and execute again
after a certain time.
But The thing i am looking for that it should not start from other
instance says looking for thread safe
In Simple words
.....................
.........................
self.lock = thread.allocate_lock()
...........................
is not solving my purpose. Would any body like to help.
