Books for learning Python

I am interested in learning Python, and have narrowed my search to two books: Learning Python by Mark Lutz, and Core Python Programming, by Wesley Chun. I am leaning towards Core Python Programming, mainly because it seems to be the more comprehensive one, but I am worried it may be too technical for me, having little programming experience. Any thoughts on those two, or perhaps another book? Thanks for your help!

I haven't checked out Core Python Programming. I always recommend Learning Python and still turn to it as a reference from time to time. We've discussed this at length in this thread.
Also, I never had the luxury of an interactive forum for help, so may get a head start here.

In case you are also new to programming (or maybe not) there were a couple of great references to information available on the net in the python from scratch thread.
I vote for making the python books thread sticky, or maybe put links to it and python from scratch in the diving into python sticky thread. There is obviously a good deal of interest in books and resources since there is at least one a week along the same lines.
