SpecTix

I am brand new to python. I have written a windows program that I'd like
to use SpecTix to design the GI for. After experimenting with Spectix, I
have realized the output (.ui file) is not in python, Since there is no
documentation for Spectix that I can find, can someone please tell me what
language the ui file is in and the necessary process to connect that output
to an already functional .py file

Well... I haven't used SpecTix either, but Tix is an extension to Tk,
and Tk is written in Tcl so I would guess the ui file is in Tcl. As to
how to connect that file to Python I haven't a clue, sorry! (But I have
a horrible feeling that the SpecTix project may be dead... although I
could be thinking of SpecTcl...)

You might have better luck with this question on a specialist
Spec[Tix|Tcl] list.

Preferences-Options-Target gives a list of output languages of which
Python is one.

SpecTcl nearly died but seems to have been reborn and has a
fairly active site on Sourceforge. SpecTix seems to have grown
out of SpecTcl and fully supports Python(Tkinter) although the
default is Tcl. But both prohjects appear to be alive and well.

I downloaded SpecTix just last week but have not got round
to using it yet...
