HELP Python Libraries not found

why do i receive this error where trying to run the mailer python script?

# ./mailer.py commit /repositories/pbuse_svn 10 mailer.conf
Traceback (most recent call last):

import _core
ImportError: ld.so.1: python: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/libsvn/_core.so: symbol svn_dirent_dup: referenced symbol not found

because it cant find my phython libraries?

i did a

echo /usr/local/lib/svn-python > /usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/svn.pth

what else do i need to do?
i previously had this problem because i didnt clean up earlier version of swig.
on a new machine starting from scratch i installed the python2.5 package i found on sunfreeware. then compiled the swig source code. and finally compiled my subversion source code. all without problems. why am i still getting this error ??

ImportError: ld.so.1: python: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/libsvn/_core.so: symbol svn_dirent_dup: referenced symbol not found
is not a python library issue. Otherwise it would say something like "couldn't find module".
Check out the swig users group mail list at
sourceforge.net
for relocation error info. Thanks for posting here. Come back soon,
Barton
