curses module bug in windows python?

when I type command below in windows python:
import curses

it gives the error msg! It can't find _curses.pyd

Is this a bug?

Nope - this module is not supported under Windows ...

Sorry, I should have been more specific: AFAIK, curses is not one of the
*standard* Python modules for Windows.
