how to record how long i use the intenet

use ADSL
use windows XP
i want to record the time when i get on the internet and off the
internet
into a txt file

You might be able to get that out of the event log.
Most types of connections record connect and
disconnect events in the System log with a source
of RemoteAccess. The win32event module
allows you to read the event log from Python.
